Short version: the tools are free, no signup. Names you generate are yours. The words and data on this site remain ours. The details follow.

Your rights

Use the names you generate. Any name a tool hands you, in any combination, is yours for characters, fiction, games, brands-in-progress or anything else. We claim no rights over generated output. You alone are responsible for checking that a chosen name is free to use where you live; see thedisclaimer.

No attribution needed for names you use. A link back is always welcome, never required.

Our rights

The site content stays ours. The prose, the tables, the datasets, the receipts, the design: this is the work of NameGeneratorZone and is protected by copyright. You may quote short passages with a link. Republishing whole pages or bulk-copying the name tables elsewhere is not allowed.

Trademarks. NameGeneratorZone and the site's marks belong to us. Property names mentioned for description, such as game or franchise names, belong to their rights holders.

How the service is provided

As-is. The tools are free and provided without warranty. Generators can contain errors, and data can be corrected at any time. The methodology documents the sources.

Costs nothing now, may show ads later. If advertising appears, the privacy policy explains what changes for you.

Conduct and changes

Do not break the site. No scraping at volume, no automated hammering of the tools, no attempts to probe or disrupt the hosting. Normal use by humans and honest bots is welcome.

These terms can change. Changes appear on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the new terms. Last updated: August 2026. Mail goes to the contact page.
